Research activities

The research of the Laboratory focuses on the study of the properties of ultracold atomic gases with regard to open problems in fundamental physics (superfluidity, many-body properties in quantum gases, transport phenomena, quantum simulation) and applications to quantum sensors with extreme sensitivity (optical atomic clocks, time-frequency measurements, inertial measurements).
